Only one high beam working
Hello, my drivers side high beam will not work, no bulb out warning light, did not find any fuses blown. I changed the bulb its seems old one seems to have shorted at the base, not the filament. low beams and parking lights and all lights on the passenger side are fine.
Any ideas would be appreciated. I am a newbie when it comes to electrical.

Hi There,
If you have not done this already - swap the high beam bulbs between the headlights to make sure the new bulb works, you can end up buying duds from time to time. If the new bulb does not work in the previously working headlight the bulb is dud. If it lights up and the old bulb you swapped into the non-working headlight does not light up you definitely have a wiring problem.
Work back through the wiring harness looking for damage to the wiring or connectors, its also worth while cleaning all the connectors and making sure they fit together firmly. Also, it would be worth checking the various relays to make sure these are working too.
