P0171/P0174 Diagnostic Test Code '07 STR (66km)
2007 Jaguar S-Type R (66km)
So I would like to share my experience with Bank 1 (P0171) Bank 2 (P0174) Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) 'System to lean' from Dash Command. Upon investigation the first time there was a vacuum hose with a 90° elbow that had come off the metal nipple just behind the throttle body. Reattached and lean codes went away. A week later the same issue cropped up so this time I applied a thin coat of high-temp black RTV to the metal nipple and slid the 90° elbow on and cinched the nipple with two black ty-wraps. As in the attached picture
