Default p1000...

hey guys
ijust replaced a rad. hose... now i am getting a p1000 code... it will not erase... the car will not rev, gear box, abs...etc lights are on...
how do i go about erasing this code?

You could check the archives- P1000 means that you have not completed the OBD drive cycle since a reset- You cannot "erase" p1000. reset causes it.

P1000 is okay. Just means the ECM hasn't reset yet. Drive around and it shouldn't be long before you've done enough speed changes etc that a "drive cycle" will be complete.

Sounds like you've got other issues. the car will not rev, gear box, abs...etc lights are on...did you reconnect everything you had disconnected or jostle something loose?

thats the issue..... i cant drive... it wont allow the car to rev over 1500 rmp (or so).
should i just roll around the driveway with it and see if it clears it?


it also shows DCS not available, parkbrake fault, engine system fault.....
nothing else was touched, just changed the hose.... everything was running fine before.

wow.... is my face red..the truth... bottom throttle body wasnt plugged in..... but im going to lie and say "it just reset itself!"
thanks alot guys i really appreciate your help... please excuse my stupidity
