Perhaps nikasil cylinder wash down while trying to start with no spark? Is it cranking over a bit faster than normal?

I miss punctuation!

Phones/Backberrys/PDAs are not substitutes for human interface.

I would say normal speed crank n i can hear like the "combustion" in the exhaust.
? could the timing be off ?

Yes you could have a cylinder wash problem but I would check the fuel pressure first. The pressure should be 42 +/- a few. Please check it to be sure. My neighbor told me that he had fuel and proceeded to show me. He opened the valve on the fuel rail and fuel came out but not with force. Put my gauge on it and found low pressure. Replaced the pump and he was back on the road again. You say you have spark and no other codes is that correct?

Well, when I have spark, compression and fuel pressure, the last thing to check is if fuel is getting to the cylinders. If I were in this position, I'd spray some starting fluid through the throttle body and see if the engine trys to run for a second or two... if so, you know that somethings up with the injectors.

But I don't think you've checked compression yet, have you? Compression gauges are quite inexpensive. Nikasil washdown or a timing chain issue will show up in a compression test.
