Default Park brake beep (and a vocabulary question)

Working my way through repairs on my 2003 Jaguar S-Type Base 3.0, automatic transmission.

Had the driver's side airbag fault light come on. Dealership replaced the sensor, but when the car came back to me I'm getting a beep-beep-beep-beep when putting it in park. This is what my X-Type used to do when I hadn't put the gear shift all the way in park. Research on the forums suggests this may have to do with loose bolts holding the shift cable onto the driver's side of the transmission. I've checked and tightened both, but the beep's still here. I have been careful to manually set the park brake and release it every time I park the car as I tell myself this could avoid the dreaded S-Type stuck in park fault... Any ideas?

Also, odd and unrelated vocabulary question: my new-to-me S-Type is missing the back sides of the rear wheel arch liners. These were both loose on my X-Type so I imagine they could have come loose, but to be completely missing??? Searching for replacement parts online gives me the upper part of the wheel arch liner, but not this back piece. Is there a specific name for that part?

Looks like just the one part, could it be broken?

Thanks! I'm going to have to assume it is broken, but the bottom edge of the upper liner is such a clean line I had assumed they were multiple parts.
