Default Park Brake Switch Replacement S Type 3.0 Auto

Hi all,
been having Park Brake fault problems for a couple of weeks and have gone through disconnect / reconnect battery then reset brake many times and still having intermittent failures. Checked fuses, replaced battery and still having intermittent fault. The last couple of times I've released the parkbrake motor using the 2 wire(with in line fuse) direct from battery then reset the parkbrake, which has worked OK- taken the car for a short run and used the parkbrake a few times. Parked up overnight then in the morning parkbrake fault comes up again with the parkbrake stuck on. Direct power from battery to the park brake motor to release it and reset gets me going again. This happened again when leaving work -got home, parked up, then park brake fault lights up. I took it to a Jag dealer today and was told the Park Brake Switch was broken which had caused the Electronic Park Brake Module to fail. I picked the car up and later at home accidentally applied the brake. I reset it using the 2 wire release method and reset procedure It's OK at the moment and I won't use the brake. At £100/hour labour cost from the dealer I'll have a go at fixing it myself. Any tips on getting the centre console off and switch out would be helpful + any other inputs on this problem would be appreciated.
