Default Parkbrake Fault will not reset.

Before im advised to search how to reset the parkbreak I know what to do and have tried many times.
Its 3 months away from MOT time and my park break fault is still perminently on. I have had new breaks fitted even though my garage said they were only half worn but was worth a try. After fitting them they did the test they would do for an MOT and said the breaks are 100%. I have tried resetting the normal way and i have tried releasing the parkbreak before disconnecting the battery. I have tried resetting with a newly recharged battery and with the car in high revs. I bought a second hand parkbreak module and this did exactly the same. I did notice a very small amount of blue corrosion on 1 or 2 of the wires going into the plug for the module though but having cleaned it off still have the same problem. Any thoughts greatly welcome as I dont want to spend £100s when the breaks work perfectly.

Thanks.

ooops. when im wrong i say im wrong.
Apart from spelling brake wrong, what i thought was the park brake module is actually the park aid module so i replaced the wrong thing. I have since ordered a second hand park brake module and will try that.

It might be the module but is often the cable / actuator as usually no-one has done any maintenance on them.

The module can be read for codes I gather...

If you've already bought another then trying it will be cheap and easy.
