Default Parking brake pad replacement

Hey guy's
Is there anything special I need to know about replacing the parking brake pads on my 03 STR. Any special tools and how do I back off the caliper to allow for the new thicker pads? Also, are these pads only available thru the dealer? I can't seem to find them.
Thanks

Looks like only the dealer stocks the e-brake pads so far. You shouldn't need them so early unless you drove with them engaged. Be sure to take your VIN with you to order them. The 2003 models are very VIN specific with brake pads. I've been down that road already!

I think that the defective parking brake accuator that has since been replaced probably was the cause of the premature wear. I don't think that it was releasing completely. Thanks for the info on the pads.

I just found another TSB for premature parking brake pad wear. Hope I can get them replaced for free!
