Hello guys.
Can anyone tell me the part number I am seraching for? I have a 2003 Jaguar S-Type R. The part I am after is a plastic trim piece which has four clips which clip into the body interior in the boot and runs along the boot seal. It has a hinged part which covers the boot lock mechanism when you open the boot. The clips on mine have degraded and it is no longer fitting properly.

My parts listing states the following:

From Vin # M45255 up to Vin #N13088 is Part # XR837925.
From Vin # N13089 is Part # XR843400.

The "R" is NOT mentioned as a specific number. It appears to be based on Vin # only.

Hello again. Can you tell me if the rear sill plate has any fixing screws or does it just have the four retaining clips on the underside of the plate? I have just fitted a new sill plate but there appear to at least four and possibly six holes for fixing screws.

 

They list XR844653, and a quantity of 4 or 6????. No designation as to what takes 4 or what takes 6.
