Default Passenger Rear Door Ajar (latch removal issue)

I have searched and read many Jaguar posts and watched utube videos regarding similar repairs regarding "interior lights remain on", instrument panel states "passenger rear door ajar" and "can not lock vehicle".
I have the rear door apart but I'm having great difficulty removing an inside the door panel hook that attaches the exterior door handle to the latch. Does anyone have any clips/pics/advice regarding the removal of the golden colored hook. Once it is removed, the latch will slide right out. Once out, I will replace the failed micro switch then I expect all will be fine again.
