Default Passenger side head light

I replaced the HID bulbs in July and they've been working fine. Got pulled over Weds night and got a ticket for my passenger side light being out. Sure enough it wasn't on. I turned the lights on and off a few times and it came on. At some point while driving it went out again.

Any ideas on where I should start? I guess I'll take the front off again and check the ballast but wanted to know if there are any other problem areas I may want to check while I have it apart.

Thank you for the help!

Almost certainly a faulty ballast. I had the same problem with the first (cheap) kit I fitted, there is a diode inside the ballast which switches it off for a few minutes if it detects a fault!.

I returned the kit and purchased a better quality one and.... so far it's working fine

I saw on another forum that the condition of the battery can affect HIDs. If it needs charged/ replaced you can get erratic lighting.

I'm going to check it out this week since it's a holiday.

I'm not sure what is going on but now my passenger side brake light is out(put a new bulb in) and then when I was driving behind my wife I noticed that the brake light above the back seat isn't working. Is there some kind of fuse or something that could be for both of those brake lights, the drivers side works.

Back brake light ended up being a fuse so that was easy. Now to find out what's going on with my head light. I'm going to check the fuse first.
