Default Picked up an 03 S-Type 5 speed manual

Hey all, Just joined the forum. I've previously owned a 5 spd X-Type and it was a fine car to me. The autos I hear are quite unreliable though. I just picked up an 03 S Type factory 5 speed manual. I thought this was pretty cool, definitely a rare one in the states. Its got 75k miles and is in mint condition, except it needs an engine, one piston is destroyed somehow, as can be seen through the spark plug hole. The plan is to replace the engine with a used one from eBay/ local yard/ car part etc and get it running again. I assume it should be a straight forward engine pull? Has anyone done this before and might be able to shed some light or insight if its not straight forward for some reason.

I towed it to my house and checked in the trunk, new clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, slave cylinder, intake gaskets, and a jaguar 3 liter emblem as well, with a receipt totaling more than I paid for the car. What a surprise I tell ya! So luckily that can all be done at once. For some reason there are two pressure plates, preliminary googling shows one may be for the Lincoln LS, which share many parts, and I would think even the pressure plate so not sure why there are two. I will have to check it out more once the weather breaks (Chicagoland) and I can start working on her.

Well thanks for the read. Hope the forum is still semi active, I know these are getting older now.
