Default Planned 60K service, suggestions?

My '08 4.2NA is approaching 60K miles and I am planning on doing a pretty large service.

At this point I plan on doing the transmission drain/refill with replacement plastic pan etc., drain/flush coolant, replace brake fluid, fuel filter, air filter, and cabin air filter (not doing engine oil/filter since that is on its own schedule). Just had the rotors/pad replaced so don't have to worry about them (used Jaguar parts, my local mechanic, still cost $1200...).

Is there anything else that I should consider? Not doing the work myself, will have a local Jaguar-specialty shop do the work.

Car runs great, no problems, 7 years and 60K just seems like a good time to "freshen" things up a bit.

Thanks

Beyond what's on your list above and the Jaguar schedule found in JTIS, that should cover it.

Agreed. But be sure to ask about the color and condition of your factory ATF when it is drained. I'm guessing it will be more brownish rather than the golden amber color when new. I would also ask about any metal shavings found on the two magnets inside the pan once it is dropped....

What ATF are you going with?

Just got my car back from an olde-school repair shop (dark, filled with parts and XK1x0s, XKEs, XJs of various vintages, plus a couple S/X-Types, in various states of repair). Had them service the transmission with the kit I bought earlier.

Also had them flush/fill radiator, flush/fill brake fluid, replace air filter & cabin air filter & fuel filter & S-belt.

Dropped it off at 7:30AM done by 3PM picked up at 5PM.

$190 parts, $450 labo(u... ;-)r

10 minutes from where I live and they even cleaned the inside of the windshield

priceless!
