I have a 2000 jaguar s type v6 and the only thing i still needto change on it is this vacuum hose but i have no idea what hose is suppose to go here. This hose was the one on it when i bought it. Please help me.

So I know it's a vacuum hose buti don't the name of the hose and o did find a few picture of how the hose is suppose to be on the car check out the difference...

 

Did you hunt around the parts diagrams? (In Stickies & web site(s).)

 

Look at the vacuum diagram near the front right shock tower. Does your diagram look like this, from my ‘02 V6?:



If the same, that lines goes to the power brake servo. Mine has a hard plastic line that is tucked under that big swoopy intake plenum. It has a short flex connection at the front.

At the rear of the engine, it connects to a flex elbow pointing straight down. It’s a little hard to see, but this appears to connect to a rigid metal line going over to the brake servo.

Couldn’t find any part number on it.
