Here are a couple of pics from an STR I found in florida.

I has an aftermarket exhaust. everything else is stock. Its rocking 95K miles with a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty.

I made a deal and put a deposit on the car. they wanted 11K and they seriously want my Silver one.

So Im paying the difference of $980+ttl

 

Awesome, she still looks nice even with 95k on the clock. Now it's time to drop in a K&N airfilter, send the supercharger to EuroToys for a port and polish, 2.5 pulley, and low temperature thermostat=50+ hp & 70+ lbs. trq. for $850. Then take her to a dyno-tune shop for an ECU tune= another 25+ hp & trq. for $1200. Congratulations!

 

I paid $6800 for my silver one, and they are giving me full KBB on it, im excited. plus they are throwing in the B2B warranty.

Heck of a way to move up!

 

Mark my words...your STR's looks and performance will keep the 'She's so sexy and "I got power" smiles on your face every time you get in and you'll be a little bummed when it's time to put her to sleep at night. Enjoy her mafioso.

 

Did you get a chance to drive it and/or get it inspected? looks like a great deal on paper...

 

yep, its actually at the Jag dealer getting its 78 point inspection. and it will be faxed to me on monday.

 

That's a good deal and a huge step up

I already have a powdercoater lined up to do the wheels black then 10% tint all around and 90% on the windshield.

It already has the Mina gallery exhaust and pulley so meth injection is on the list.

I may have a tuner that's willing to give it a shot on the dyno

 

wow, thats some 'to do' list.

I always wanted to do a meetup in the DFW area, but being the perfectionist in me, I want to come up with a good 45-min -> 1-hr drive outside of the city on some nice, curvy (and smooth) roads with some scenery. Throw in a stop at our Ft Worth Autobahn Jag dealer for a personal tour of the new XJ, lunch/dinner, a possible semi-pro photoshoot setup so everyone can get a pic of their car in some really cool setting. I'd also like to pick a day when we may be able to lure Brutal up from Houston, get Motorcarman from Decatur to come down...talk technical if a topic comes up. I think it would be fun.

If you're up for such a plan, I could use a co-organizer to help.

 

Most. deff I think maybe a park and Grille would be a good idea, then maybe some sort or a cruise would be a good idea too.

Also possibly added to the list is a Zaino date with tri-zac since its black pics cannot show swirl marks too well.
