Possibly found an S-TYPE R WOOHOOO
Well the tuner is no secret I spoke with Kenny Tran from Jo-tech racing they mainly focus on oddball projects like sub 9 sec hondas 600whp daily driven scion TC's. Then I've also spoken with endyme and I've seem to peaked thier curiousity although thier specialty is eaton porting on a smaller scale ie hondas. (it's all the same these are just bigger hahaha)
Here are a couple of pics from an STR I found in florida.
I has an aftermarket exhaust. everything else is stock. Its rocking 95K miles with a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty.
I made a deal and put a deposit on the car. they wanted 11K and they seriously want my Silver one.
So Im paying the difference of $980+ttl

Am I missing something or is there no leaper? Is that some kind of a badge?
Good call on the missing leaper its a good thing I have a spare one!
I know how black goes, Im prety **** about my cars, they get the Zaino full treatment once a quarter anyways

So I finally got the Jaguar inspection report and some possible bad news that I may not be able to live with.
Car has had Cats removed and straight pipes welded in, has extensive emissions tampering. (trying to get more details)
Pending recalls:
Incorrect gear selection R513
unattended wheel brakes R167 (getting more details)
My biggest issue so far and worrysome is Code U2200-Invalid data for rolling odometer count showed on scan test
They are also replacing the TC under warranty and rebuilding the tranny:
Transmission not shifting properly. Scan test shows multiple codes but no CEL has internal transmission problems

When I made my first post in this thread I had some concerns...I hope the 2nd car gives you better luck. I live in Florida, and have clients who get screwed by used car places all the time. Glad you got an inspection done. I've never done it before, but I think I will from now on.
Ok so an update.
The previous 2 didnt work out, I posted the issuses with the first one.
the second one had some rips in the driver seat that I decided I could not deal with for the price.
So I guess it was fate.
03 STR with 41K miles for 13K is on the table. I hope to pick this one up in the next week or so.
