Power to the fuel pump
My 2003 Jaguar S Type cranks but won’t start unless I jumper the battery directly to the pump, then the engines starts and runs well. I have a new battery, fuel pump, inertia switch, pressure sensor, fuel filter, and air filter. There was a p1338 code on my scan tool but I can’t locate the FPDM. Please help!
Take a look at the wiring diagrams here:

Sorry, can't view them myself at the moment as am working on my phone. On the engine management diagram, you will see a relay for the fuel pump. The relay is located in the trunk fuse panel.
Place your finger on the relay and have a helper cycle the key on and off. No need to try starting yet, just on and off a few times with the key. You should feel the relay click with each cycle.
If so, that means the control circuit to the relay is working. No guarantee the internal contacts are properly sending power, though. Try swapping with a known-good relay of the same size and see if that helps.
If no click from the relay, you'll have to investigate the control circuit.
The wiring diagrams will have a couple of fuses to check, too. One is for the control circuit and the other is power for the pump.
