Default Power steering pressure switch 3.0 v6

Hello Jag people,
I just picked up another cheap '01 S-type 3.0 which has a leaking power steering pressure switch. I thought it'd be an easy change but boy was I wrong. I can get a 9/16ths spanner on it but it just doesn't move and there is flex in the lines.
Anyone had success replacing it in situ?
Or am I looking at needing to remove something to get better access?
These switches were used across many Ford cars of the era.
Thanks for any info regarding the replacement of this frustrating little part!

Cheers,
Ben

The switch is NSS and is part of the hose assy.

I have replaced the line and I half-heartedly attempted to remove the switch from the pressure hose/pipe and gave up.
I just tossed the part on the scrap pile.

Maybe HEAT is required? Might be some sort of permanent threadlocker compound?

Thanks Motorcarman. So basically you're saying that in your experience the switch might be permanently attached and that the only real option is to replace the complete hose/pipe/switch part, which I've seen online.
Can you tell me if it's a hard job to replace it?
Cheers,

I don't remember replacing a V6 line lately but about a year ago I did a 2002 4.0 V8 S-Type power steering pressure pipe.

The switch itself was 'dripping' so I bought a new pipe/hose assy. It was less than $200 if I remember.
The connection at the pump was the most difficult but the part was replaced and the reservoir topped up.
Customer was happy to not have to stop every couple hundred miles to top up the fluid.

Where can I get this switch?
