Default Purple Ice

Has anyone tried the Purple Ice coolant additive made by Royal Purple? Couldn't find any reviews specific to Jaguar, but read some mixed reviews pertaining to other makes.

Careful. The cars are fine with the correct stuff but anything else is a risk. So, why?

Agreed. You don't want to wind up creating a gelling issue by pouring inappropriate chemicals down the cooling system hatch. Again, why risk it?

Good points. That's what I read on one of the MB forums. Just hoping to bring down engine temps a little. We all know how the STR's heat up in the summer heat.

We do? I thought the fans were more than capable of dealing with it.

Standard coolants already contain all of the magic stuff in Purple Ice, Water wetter or any other elixir.

The car heats to the setting it's designed for, then keeps there using the fans. Leave it alone, it works fine. If it's not doing this, fix what's broken
