radiator
I am purchasing a 2003 S type Jaguar supercharegd 4.2 lt; the radiator is shot, the owner tells me that the radiator comes with a trans. oil cooler. I check this out and I find out that their is a supercharged radiator that cost $ 1,400.00, dollars, or I can also buy a new radiator oem for about $500.00 dollars plus shipping, with trans. oil lines hookups.
The other choice would be a used radiator with trans. oil cooler already screewed to the front of the radiator, with a 30 day parts warrenty.
Please advice.

The Jaguar dealer is the least expensive place to buy the radiator. I have seen the ones on Rock Auto for CHEAP but they DO NOT have the gearbox cooler.
I have done this repair a few times in the last year and I just buy the OEM from Jaguar.
I don't think the SC is different from the NA V6 or V8. I think they are all the same from 2003MY>.
The SC 4.2 radiator is BURIED and will require 5 or 6 hours to dig it out and put it back.

P.S. I think the rads all develop a leak at the right lower corner for some reason.
