Default Rear brake discs & pads

I changed rear discs & pads on my s type 2003 with electronic hand brake, all went well (so I thought ) I reset ehb as instructions, works ok but when driving I have noticed every time I go over a speed hump or a dip in the road the rear brakes come on momentarily, it's as if the suspension bottoms out and it affects the brakes, anyone had a similar experience if so how do I cure it, I've reset the ehb a few times but still get the same problem it's like it pulls the cables taunt and operates the calipers.

Did you correctly reset the caliper pistons to engage the inside pad? Did you also clean and lubricate the guide pins in the anchor brackets?

Hi, yes also greased all points that made contact with pads, I have noticed that the handbrake cables are very close to the drop links (I also replaced them while I was at it) and there is wear on the outer casings

Go back over your work and see if everything is assembled and routed correctly.

I have now found out the problem, the plastic lugs on the end of the outer brake cables where they go through the mechanism on the back of the calipers was partly broken off which let them move out of the holes so I used cable ties to hold them in place also a cable tie fixed to the springs to raise the cables so they don't rest on top of the drop links.
now working as they should,
