Default rear control module

I found less online, then in this forum. Does anybody have a schematic or know what relay controls which light in the rear control module?
The problem on my daughters car is the tag lights were not working when bought. It has 12vdc to the light but no ground. After getting a wiring schematic(thank you jaguar forum) I determined the control module gives it the ground and its bad. I did check the grounds. I bought a rear control module and installed it and lights worked.
Problem, I did not start the car. I'm sitting at the firehouse thinking about it and will it start or did I creat more problems as far as this might have to get programmed?
I want to try to fix the old module just in case I need it. Thanks in advance.

Mike,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to S-Type forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.
