would it be completely silly of me to get a Rear spoiler on the back of an X type or S type such a a spoiler like this or do you think it will match Spyder Spyder Type V 52 Inch Double Deck GT Wing Aluminum - Black - GTW-SP-TV-BK any thoughts

 

Roody, it is your car and you can do with it as you see fit. But, this is what I will caution you on: Jaguar owners are fairly traditional people and have a general sense of "the factory made it that way for a reason". What I mean by this is that you may catch some grief from the more Jaguar purists about defacing the car by "putting that ugly wing" on the car. I have seen this sort of thing happen first hand when I went to a car show. A guy showed up with an X-Type with aftermarket rims, a stereo, and window tint. Needless to say, enough people came up to him that he finally left the show early. The same thing was happening to the guys that were bringing the older Jags in with the Chevy small block conversions.

So, like I mentioned initially, your car, you do as you see fit. But, understand, for every action, there will be a reaction.

There is an after market spoiler on one of the top photos and it really makes the car look cheezey.

 

He's from Essex......... best spray fake tan on the car, too.
