Default Rear wheel speed sensor?

Hi Guy's
Have abs and traction control lights on.
Diagnostic readout says, Rear Wheel Speed Sensor.
Have ordered part and will be here Monday.
Apparently it is the hub complete, what is involved in replacing?
Any information much appreciated.
Regards David.

Hello,

rear wheel sensor, is just a loose sensor, easy to replace.
A 5 min Job ( after the wheel is removed! )
Just a cable and one Nut.

Regards,
Peter Jan

Default Confused?

Hi Peter
Thanks for the reply.
I thought you could not buy the rear speed sensor on it's own?
I was under the impression it came as a whole hub assembly?
Regards Dave.

I pulled mine and cleaned them and my ABS error went away after a mile of driving. It took 45 minutes to pull and clean all of them. The front I had to get the wheels off. The back I didn't.

You can just get the sensor for mine,(2003 STR) but it's cheaper to get the hub and sensor.
