Hi, on my 01 S-type, do I have to drop the cover underneath to replace the driver-side fog light? Also, I want full access under the centre console (the one in between the seats), but the handbrake prevents the removal of the console. Any suggestions? Thanks

 

For the fog light, the belly panel can be left installed. Don't forget the horizontal trim piece between the two fog lights must come out. I forget the exact details, but it was easy once you got your nose in there to see the fasteners and clips.

For the center console, undo the snap on the leather cover, under the handle. This will let you move the console forward a few inches. IIRC, you have to rotate the console at the same time to clear the dash.
