replacement fuel pumps 2005 s type R

filled up my just purchased 2005 s type r and a quarter of the tank over flowed at the flange at the top of the fuel pump should I replace with used or after market pumps and if so what brand?

The fuel pump cap and connections usually don't leak.

I would investigate further and find out what and where the leak issue is!

depending on your vin sender/fuel pump cap etc.

The cap seal.?
Cap damaged?
Cap not secured?
The fuel pipe connectors.?
Has someone been in there before and not seated/secured the top cap correctly.
Etc.

Then you can take it from there with what is required and where/which side etc.

this is the one year only california pump they’re known for doing this.
