Default Replacing headlights vs buying new adjusters.....

hey guys. I need to replace my driver side headlight as the adjuster is broke. I tried to do the brutal fix with the screws but was only able to do the passenger side, the driver sides clip fell through somewhere and now when I put the screw in it does not hold it. So I was either thinking of used a used headlight assembly off of ebay for about 200 bucks or so, or if the adjusters are easy to swap out I was gonna do that for around 75 bucks. Was thinking about a new headlight but its atleast about 425 on ebay and welsh jaguar online. What do you guys think?

Go with replacing the adjusters Martin. They sell for about $105 on Ebay - these adjusters are WAYYYY better than what Hella installed. I found a nice set of used headlights on Ebay and purchased a set of the adjusters.

Very easy to install them and you'll be very happy once you do. My headlamps are fully adjustable with the adjusters purchased on Ebay.

thanks for the info. what adjusters would you go with. I see different ones on ebay, the plastic ones and some that have metal on them.

I would take a stab at these:

Jaguar s Type s Type Normal Xenon Headlamp Headlight Repair Kit Adjuster 2 Sets | eBay

The ones I ordered were from Poland - picture looks the same but looks like a different seller - look at the sellers feedback to ensure positive experiences - stay away from the plastic adjuster auctions out there - get the ones that are reinforced with metal - Good Luck!
