Replacing Navigation and Radio Easy Fix?
I have a 2005 S-Type that came with standard radio and no navigation. I understand that on Jaguar it's a simple plug and play unit to replace. Is that true? I would love to buy an OEM on Ebay and replace my single disc player with a 5 disc changer and add the navigation. I can pick it up on Ebay for around $200.00
My question is since I'm not a mechanical/electrical genius is this something I can get a local radio guy to do for me at a price? Or do I have to go to Jaguar?
Or scrap the whole idea. Looking for some sage advice.

Well it's all pretty out of date.
You have the ideal car for a aftermarket double DIN all in one navigation/Bluetooth/backing camera/whatever install. Several people have done very nice jobs.
I would not buy the old factory stuff. And I have it all in my 2005 STR.
