I seem to have this problem where the one touch feature stops working, every 6 weeks...At my most recent dealer visit, I saw he held the sunroof button for like 10 seconds...

What I don't know is if I need to do anything before it. Such as hit window buttons or anything else?

 

once the sunroof is set and working thats it
if you continuesly have a problem with the sunroof timing then you will need a new sunroof motor

 

Dang, how much does that run? Also, any insight of how to reset it by holding the button down for 10 seconds? I called my local dealer, told to bring it and pay the service charge It's a 2003, by the way

 

all i know is i have the same problem in my x type. it was caused because i had a new battery put in my car, and i cant get the sunroof to work anymore. if you find out, let me know.i will do the same
