Restricted Performance
When in third gear passing a car "peddle to the metal" a warning light came
on “orange lite” with a message “restricted performance”.
And my car lost about 60% power.
Drove to my destination “around 8 blocks” and shut the car off.
Left 15 minutes later , lite and message still on.
They disappear in 5 minutes. Now the car runs fine.
Should I be worried?
It still has warranty but , Really .. . . really . . . . really do not want to take it to my
Jaguar dealer.
