Hi All,

New to the site.
Anybody replaced any injectors on a 2.7 TDV6 before?
If so is there any advice?

Best advice I received here for any and all issues to do with 2.7 TTD was to jump across to the UK forum. These forums are predominantly US member based, where diesels are largely unknown - lots of opinions, mostly negative, but very short on owner experience.

No criticism implied - just a logical fact. The UK Forums have heaps of info - use the Thread Search tool or you will drown (lol). I hope this helps.

The S-Type diesel wasn't sold at all into USA/Canada/etc. The petrol injectors rarely fail so don't expect much if anything in the way of help on this specific issue.

 

I thought for a mo from JagV8's reply that I had done a whoopsie - but no, Johnnie was inquiring about injectors for the 2.7 Twin Turbo Diesel - to which my previous advice stands ...
... head off to the UK Forum where there is plenty of specific knowledge.

 

Yes, it's easily the best place for any diesel-specific issues.
