Default S type 2000 3.0 5 speed manual gearbox identification

Hello all!

I've bought myself a 2000 S type 3.0 v6 manual sport. It's got the 5 speed gearbox, and it's an X reg plate (UK). Now, she's done 150k miles and been stood for about 10 months so I'm going to give her a good service, but I can't for the life of me work out what to do with the gearbox.

From the Jag technical manual I found it is most likely a getrag 221, but there are some people saying ford might have made it rather than getrag. What I need to know is, what fluid goes in it and what amount of fluid should I put in?

The info I've found has said use 1.8 litres of either Amsoil Gear 2000 75w-140, Castrol Syntrans 75w 90, or some kind of redline MT90. Is that accurate?

You may want to post this question on the UK forum as well since most members of this forum are from North America. Jaguar did not offer a manual gearbox on the X200/X202 in North America.

What does the vehicle Owner's Manual suggest for fluid types?

Somewhere on here is the PDF for Vehicle Specifications.
It includes such data.

Looks like Esso D21065 (Jague JLM20937).

Of course any dealer can look up what you need I hope!

They were available in the US, although rare, up to 2003 Getrag is correct Ford made the auto box for the same era cars.
