Default S-Type 3.0 2007 poor performance

Hi, the battery died on my 3.0 V6 S-Type & when replaced the car now has really poor, almost lacklustre performance. I installed a fully charged new Bosch battery & had to reset the radio if this gives an indication.
There are no warning lights or indication of limp mode, but it just has no oomp at all. She does go up through the revs, runs smoothly & appears to be running on all 6, with no indication of misfire.
It has also had the diagnostic check with no faults indicated.
Any thoughts? Thanks Jon

I expect that will achieve nothing.

Get and use an OBD tool with live data (elm327 most likely).

good call jagv8 every one should have one ! and is wise to check trims and fuel pressures before resetting KAM. my hunch is the issue is the reason the battery got checked in the first place . not vice versa. but reboot is a free exercise and often pays off with anything running windows.

Sure does with Windows! (Not that S-Type cars run it.)

No but quite often these s type cars will leave you wondering if it was Microsoft junk running it !
And for various reasons such as low voltage/cca start ups or voltage spikes from charging systems earth issues and other happenings causing strange module symptoms , the hard reboot as well as body module code deletes via the icarsoft has worked well for me .
There is so much going on in these cars at one time you have to expect the odd brain frizzle . Great when thay are going great though ,
