Default S-Type ABS module

Hi everyone hope you are all well.
I'm on the hunt for an elusive abs module for my s type. I have sent it for examination and repair but apparently the circuit board cannot be repaired..
part no is 2r83 2c219 ba.
Vin is sajaco 1ax2 jm56900.
Apparently it's unusual for the 02 to have dsc. I'm thinking I may need to learn how the jag parts code work and cross reference with a part with different number. I've exhausted my options for finding one here in New Zealand so any help will be so gratefugratefully appreciated. Cheers Barry Adams

i found several BA units around the globe but only one AA unit in the world .

DSC started to become standard from around mid 2000 in the UK (MY2001 cars) and other geographies followed. I think mine (build Sept. 2000) was one of the last MY2001 cars that didn't get DSC as standard in Germany.

There seem to be a few for sale in the US, UK and Europe.

+1 seems pretty much standard rather than unusual

Also, how sure are you that you need a part with suffix stated?

HI, no I am not sure at all . I'll spend some time online tomorrow and see what I can learn about jag part codes.
Also having read a post on here with photos about dismantling and repairing an abs module I am wondering why they cut mine open with a dremil instead of the star sockets.
Think I will obtain the correct socket and have a Ccack at it myself. Cheers
