ABS module
Does anyone know if the abs mod controls the speedometer on the dashboard had a problem yesterday. Lights on dash said abs, trac, gearbox, safemode, car wouldn't shift from park .so I unplugged the ABS MODULE, then was able to get the car in gear.and drove her home. But still have light all over the dash . when I plug the abs back in the dash will say incorrect part , the trans stays in park. So I assume the ABS MODULE is bad . and do I have to get this thing reprogrammed when I change it out (LNF2210AD)
This all started with abs trac control warning light coming on .2002 XK8 4.0 with 70,000 miles any help would be appreciated.

The actual part number for your car is JLM21323. The part number you quote is probably written on the cover of your module but Jaguar does NOT use that number.
The ABS module sends the vehicle speed info to the other modules on the CAN bus.
A used replacement module may or may not need configuring to your car. You can fit the replacement module into the area next to the old module and plug it in to see if all the warnings disappear.
You need the 6 pipe (9 valve) module with 9 blue solenoids.

Thoroughly check out these 2 threads/links before you comtemplate replacing your ABS module:

I repaired mine by simply resoldering the 2 weakly designed ABS pump motor supply contact points. Good luck!

The DTC closest that I can find is P1637.
CAN ABS/TCCM token message missing.
When fault is detected, ECM:
– Inhibits cruise control
– (Idle speed control quality deteriorates)
Possible Causes
CAN open circuit fault – ABS/TCCM to ECM
CAN short circuit fault
ABS/TCCM failure
ECM failure
I would plug a known-good ABS module into the car harness and try a HARD RESET.
More diagnosis is in your future.
