S type I am a bit Lost Not running right
Hi all,
I have a Jaguar s type V reg 2967cc 89000miles
The warning light flashed up on the Jag saying Engine Fail then the
Idle was running really rough could not accelerate.
Then I parked her up for a bit now the Yellow engine light flashes on and off
And still running like a misfire I was told it could be a coil pack by a friend
Also to change the coil pack on the left hand side of the engine do you need to remove the manifold?
Any advice orIdeas would be much appreciated

YES YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE INTAKE FOR THOSE, ENGINE FAIL SAFE FOR MISFIRES WOULD HAVE TO BE ECCESSIVE ENOUGH TO CAUSE CATALYST DAMAGE,,,,,IE DEAD CYLINDER
