Default S-Type nearside front window problem!

I have a problem with my window motor winder assembly. I have ordered the parts to fix this but just wondered if there are any graphics or pictures of its operation. The Disc/Manual I have is crap and doesn't show everything in detail! Does anyone know where I could obtain such info please?

Welcome to the forum bamford.

I've moved your post to the tech section, I'm assuming you have a modern S Type.
You could look in the "how to" section for help.
Please post an intro in the new members section when you can.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

See if this link helps, courtesy of Gus:

I recently replaced the regulator mechanism in the driver's door of my '02. I used an aftermarket brand, made by AC Delco I think it was. About $70 on Amazon, IIRC. It worked fine but one of the mounting holes was off slightly. I had to oversize it about 1/32" and then all was good.

Kr98664 / Karl/Sandy, Quick note to say Thank You for your very quick response to help me. The photographs are brilliant and I now know where I'm at! As an engineer you have to know how something works before you can fix it! John Bamford , Derbyshire ,England
