Hello all. I'm seeing many posts about the sunroof not working or leaking or not opening or closing, but nothing about the problem I'm having. The sunroof works properly except for the fact it does not seat properly on closing. I noticed wind noise with the roof closed and the shade open. Close the shade and the noise reduces. When you look at the roof from outside the car, the rear of the window does not sit flush with the roof body. The driver's side end of the roof glass sits lower in the frame. When driving, if I push up on the back of the window, the wind noise disappears. I got in the car after a heavy rain and my seat belt was soaked. So was the head liner above my head. I fashioned cloth covered wooden shims and pushed them between the glass and the frame to seal the glass, but that makes the sunroof useless. Any ideas as to why it is not seating properly. I've done all the window reset procedures. Thanks.

Mystery cars are hard to diagnose.
There are 2 different versions of the S-Type (2000-2002 and 2003 onward)
They have VERY different sliding roofs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gee, Bob.... a little intense are we? Might want to cut back on the caffeine. A simple "what year is your S-T?" would have garnered a much more charitable response than a lecture. It's a 2005 VDP edition, btw, but on this model the roof doesn't slide. Just the window. You have a nice day.
