The locking fob and the door locks have lost their minds; that or I have. When I hit the lock on the fob, the doors lock then immediately unlock; when I drive off at 5+ mph the doors lock then they immediately unlock. When I manually lock them from inside they lock then immediately unlock. When I arm the system sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't - that sems to be the trend in all modes. What's the sotory? Is there a fix? I've changed the fob battery.

Well I had an interesting experience with my '08 4.2 last week when my wife and I went to pick up some take-out food we ordered. There was no parking in from of the restaurant so I dropped her and drove around the block. On coming around I found a spot just back up the street from where I'd dropped her. I pulled in and can see her walking away from me down the block. So, I put the car in park climb out and shout in her direction. Unfortunately, the door slips out of my grasp and proceeds to close and lock with the keys in the ignition and the car running...

She had a house keys but not a spare key for the car. I had to jog about 1.5 miles back to the house where I got a spare key and then drove her car back to pick her up and drive both cars home.

Food was cold by the time we ate...
