Solar sensor 2003 4.2 L S-type
Hi
I am planning on replacing the solar sensor and wondered if ppl had any hints on removing the demister cover. It seems to clip in and you simply lever it out however i obviously don't want to damage the mountings. I have procured all the necessary parts but just want to be sure before starting.

You have to remove the pillars first. Read up on JTIS. Don't be surprised if the demister cover breaks when attempting to remove. This part becomes so hard and brittle after being exposed to the sun all these years.
