I thought it was South America. Oh and aren't pig tails turned the opposite as well?

No, they drive on the correct side of the road in South America. No idea how they taught the pigs to drive though.

Very cheap! But does the 2.7L bell housing have the same bolt pattern as the other engines? Maybe it's unique to the 2.7L so not much demand?

Just guessing.

Er... no idea!

I'm not sure who would even have room to swap a trans. I'd have to do it on a narrow, busy road - utterly impossible.

There is no Yorkshire in England.
I tried to find your town.
What is you address? I would like to see your street. I don't need your house number.

Yorkshire is a county!

Just look at any narrow street in any of our big towns or cities. Imagine lots of traffic. Bear in mind USA has 5 times the people and 50 times the land of the UK. England is even more crowded.

Most people do not have a garage or land they can park a car on much bigger than the car. I see US garages bigger than most houses here....

It can also be true of most cities and towns in Europe, not only in England.

York and Leeds are the bigger areas from what I remember of Yorkshire, but you can also see if you can find the City of London, Chelsea or Westminster on your map search program.

Here you go:

Yorkshire - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And if the 2.7L was a diesel, yes it bolts up.

And if it was petrol, it would at least bolt up to the 3.0L petrol
and related family.

If its any consolation, JagV8, I've no garage, a slender driveway, but lots of work to do on my S!

Love to visit England some day, especially the north, Some of Dad's relatives were Brummies.( I know, Midlands).

Keep your eye out for a 6-speed manual out of a diesel S-Type, if there is one up for auction i'll be all over it.
