I want that sound! A not too over bearing growl.

 

It sounds just as good from inside the cabin as well, especially when you really get on it on the highway. There's no drone, it's not obnoxiously loud, and the borla has an internal x-pipe. I'm still deciding on whether or not to install the hi-flow cats that are sitting in my basement... either way, I'm going to get another couple dyno runs when the weather cools a little to measure the following: 1) Exhaust impact - didn't have the borla or mina stuff on when I dyno'd the impact of Russ's intake elbow and 2) Mina pulley impact.

Ok, so a few questions. I am not a big fan of my current exhaust setup and am slowly looking for an alternative. I am interested to hear why you chose this Borla unit for $180 instead of a cheaper $80 Magnaflow 11385 or 14385?

If you have the chance, could you do a few drive by videos at normal 2000rpm speed and then at WOT?

I chose the borla b/c:

1) i have always had good experiences with borla
2) this particular model has a longer case than the magnaflow which I interpreted as having less potential for droning
3) I have a magnaflow on my pathfinder and it's too loud

I'll try to do the drive bys over the next couple weeks and will record the next dyno session.
