Default Squab

Does anyone know where I can get the leather seat cover/replacement for my S type 1999 Jag 3.0
Its Almond (AGM) and I am after replacing the seat on the drivers side.. might even do the passangers side too but will see what a pain it is first.

A scrappie (wrecker) but wear and fading etc will make it "tough" (*) to match.

(*) close to impossible, so be realistic (new would be worse but also too costly)

The UK forum mentions such places as eurojag. The usual places on here are in USA...

My cars interior is in "new condition in the back.. and top and sides... just needs new seats and steering wheel...

thats it.

carpets are in great shape. so I am not bothered about buying new... I am bringing my car off to the paint shop to have all tiny dents etc removed £175 that includes one big dent on the ns front door.... under the wing mirror.. plus a few rust patches.

I was quoted £345 to do the steering wheel, seat and gator.. but I bought a new gator... and I think that price was a bit steep.

I can get a full interior to my design for £1600 so why would I pay that for one seat and steering wheel...

Eurojag dont have anything in "almond" or AGM colour. I have already spoke to them on the phone.

I tried to help but apparently it was pointless.

what are you on about being pointless?????

you gave me thoughts and ideas. but I have already persued those avenues.

I will give the main dealer a ring tomorrow and see how much it will be for a new seat squab/cover for both front passanger and driver. thats it.

scrappies I havnt found one! and I have listed it on every silly site possible to locate the same colour.

it would be easier to change the whole colour.. ie from eurojags... but I would really like to keep it the same.

I know what you meant.. or I think I do... but I am a stubborn mule when it comes to keeping things just the way they are.... well to some degree.

Thank you for the advice above.

Thanks Pete, those are the guys who passed me onto Elite restorations in beverly and quoted the £345

because they are so far away..

apearantly elite said they cant fix the two tears and have to replace the leather bolsters... etc... I dont know.. not my speciality.

might make a trip to leeds though and see what they have to say.

thank you again.
