Good evening peoples, ,any info would be appreciated on my suspension bush on the rear of my 2.5 s type 2002 auto ,it's just started sweeping ,the garage day it's a full sub frame off and the bushes can't be changed without changing the rear suspension, is this right ?

 

On my 03 S type R I had bushings squeeking. On my car at least, they are apparently some sort of self-contained fluid filled bushings. The protective boot/seal is gone on mine. To temporarily quiet the squeeking I just shot some silicone lube all over them. It has been working for a few weeks and I don't have to hide my face anymore when I drive by in the squeeky Jag A permanent fix is on the to do list. I am looking into Lincoln LS parts fitting my car because the Jag bushings available are rather expensive.
