I'm in need of a muffler shop in southern Maryland, DC or southern Virginia that does excellent custom exhaust work. I would like the resonators removed and a x-pipe installed with QuickSilver muffler.

Here's the best deal on a cat back exhaust system I've located so far (Mina $875). I was informed that in three weeks the price is dropping to an even lower price.

For the money I think the Mina will be the best Bang for the buck.
I have been thinking about adding it but dont want to spoil the quiet ride.
I'm spilt on it, some days I want the exhaust sound and some days I dont.

If you look on youtube there is a video of an XJR with the Mina
mufflers thats sounds really nice.. so it should be in the same ballpark sound wise.

 

Thanks for the feedback marc4sgr. I pre-ordered the Mina yesterday at the lower price so it will arrive in 3-4 weeks. I also just found out from Chris that Mina exhaust for our STR is simply a bolt-on and I can install it myself.

 

Yes the cat backs are VERY simple to intall yourself....

I think this XJR sounds great, nice balance of tone but still quiet in the cabin.
