STR EGR valve AJ88582 interchange with ford?

Does the valve and tube interchange?

EGR Tube AJ82344

the new one from the jag dealer was an updated part, alot more heavy duty plus it was very expensive.

The EGR tube was recently replaced on my 03 STR ($120). Def. beefier than the one it replaced, but not interchangeable with the EGR tube of a Lincoln LS. The EGR may be interchangeable?
