AllData shows these specs for the STR, can some one confirm if these are correct?

V8, Supercharged, Denso Engine Managment
Idle speed 3 bar (43.5 psi)
Wide Open Throttle 5 bar (72.5 psi)


My 2003 STR fuel pressure is running at:

Idle stays around 54 psi
WOT stays around 58 psi but spikes up to 62 psi during shifts

I suspect the right side fuel pump is failing.

 

Fuel pressure was measured via IDS.

 

I had a fuel rail pressure sensor fail on my 2005 STR. For troubleshooting I drove around a good bit with a mechanical fuel pressure gauge taped to my windshield! Search for code P0191 if you are interested.

I would say you are in the proper fuel pressure range. I got between 45-65 psi driving around.

If you have a pump going down there are several codes it should set?
