Default STR with Matte Black Hood/Roof/Trunk

What do you guys think of this, I have a Quartz Grey 03 STR with Satin Black rims, now I have decided to make it look a little bit more meaner by doing vinyl wrap of matte black on the hood, roof and rear trunk and spoiler, here is a photo I rendered in photoshop just to get an idea how it will come out. Let me know what you guys think...

Assolutely do it. Jaysus that's sick which gets my vote as the antithesis of bling...

The only caveat I would add is that try to get the shade of the wheels and the hood/top/trunk as close as possible, otherwise it might look a little "off" once complete.

If you buy a new hood for the car it with come in a matte black finish.. I was at the dealership yesterday and they had a brand new hood that was dented while being shipped in the junk pile and I was tempted to drive back with a pickup at night and borrow it to try exactly what you were thinking..

Did some simple clean graphic design for my S-Type R, what do you guys think, the decal is in flat black so it blends with the flat black wheels, this would look even better on a Black S-Type R or XK-R with a gloss black finish and the flat black design would make really classy but sporty...

I think after you tint the windows and black out the side markers and reflectors that thing would be even sicker. I do like the graphic though very nice. I think darkening the things I already mentioned would tie everything together. Maybe make the calipers pop a little too. Maybe yellow??

As you can see this design concept came from a Jaguar XK-R GT2 and when you see the actual car it is very clean and simple with impact not "ricer" as you think I own Cookie GRaphics Racing Designs and I do a lot of hard core race graphics and digital wraps for REAL GT Race cars including our own a Lotus Elise which runs in the 2011 Redline PRO Time Attack series TweeksIntroPage I do a lot of Porsche and Ferrari Cars too i have kept the car simple but all the boys been telling to put something on the car since I am the actual graphics guy and my car had non so I played around with the idea and so far everybody liked it and your the first to comment it to be ricer...... hmmmmm

Ouch. Harsh. LOL. I see where you are coming from but since they do this to their race cars and its a Jaguar leaper I think that kinda takes it away from the ricer look. I like it. If it was like a tribal design I would be calling ricer right along with you.

I take it you never did the matte wrapped hood, top, and trunk. I'm kinda curious what that would of looked like.

Maybe if you stop hanging out with other ricers you will get different comments.

I'm really just yanking your chain, you can do whatever you want (obviously). I'm not a huge fan of S-Types to begin with, but that's just my personal preference.
