Default STR nitrous

Can a STR handle a small shot of nitrous like 35-50 shot? I plan on the 3.5lb pulley, porting the supercharger, removing the cats and resonaters, intake, maybe water injection or another mod to keep the intercoolers from getting so hot. Eurocode can actually tune str's and there local. I think i should be around 360whp before nitrous and with the spray around 400 keep up wiith e55's.

that's awesome that they're local. I'm in so cal too. Are you going to have them do a custom chip for you or what? I'm interested in the same type of performance mods.

Do you really want to risk leaning out a forced induction car with a very expensive motor for 30-50 hp? I would def go with with a wet kit if attempted this, but my feeling is that the PCM is NOT going to know what to do with the extra unmetered fuel.

I dunno maybe I'm conservative but I've always shyed away from the spray on a motor that wasn't built to handle it. It's a cheap way to go fast, but way too easy to blow up a motor if things go wrong...

a 50 shot isnt much, and yes ide do a wet system. it can handle that if in good condition. Ive run 125 shots on lots of stock motors and as you see in my sig alot more than that on built motors. the issue is you need to be able to pull timing on spray and anything more than a 50 might be pushing it. If you can tune for NOS your gonna want to pull 2degrees timing per 50hp. As long as you have plenty of fuel youll be fine. The nozzle goes in after the mafs. But for fun go look on youtube for the guys that fogged nitrous over the aircleaner on the dyno and picked up 100hp

This is probably the best thing I have ever seen on this forum. I need to get in contact with them ASAP. I am definitely local and have exhausted my leads on shops that tune cars. No shop I found would even consider tuning my XJR.

Thank you so much for this info!
