I have a 2007 Black (Ebony is the official name I think) STR and I wish to paint the chrome bits on the bumpers. Anyone know where to get the correct color and the best procedure for painting?

 

these guys in this thread are not painting chrome bumper blades
so it a bit different than the side markers ! and the side markers are not so susceptible to flying debris , so the etch is not so paramount.

as for were to buy the paint -
as previously stated on your other thread
most automotive paint suppliers can mix to a code and put it in an aerosol can .
once again it won't be as good as the factory paint , as you can not mix 2k paint into an aerosol . it will be lacquer or enamel. it will need to be scuffed/keyed,etched,primed-
and being a perl color it will need to be clear over base/color coat .

if you have a compressor and a spray gun then you can use two pack paints! if not it will be an aerosol can with lacquer or enamel paint .
